Silicon calcium plate production process

March 24, 2024

The raw materials for the production of calcium silicate board are widely used. Siliceous materials can be made of quartz sand, diatomaceous earth, fly ash, sand dust, porcelain clay, etc. Calcium materials can be made of quicklime powder, lime paste, slaked lime powder, calcium carbide mud, etc. Glass fiber, mica powder, cellulose, organic synthetic fiber and asbestos fiber can be used. The process for producing calcium silicate board is a molding method, a copying method, and a slurry method.

The production process of silicon calcium plates involves several steps. Here is a general overview of the process:
1. Raw materials preparation: The main raw materials for silicon calcium plates are silicon metal and calcium metal. These metals are usually obtained in the form of ingots or granules. They are then crushed and ground to a fine powder to increase their surface area and facilitate the reaction.
2. Mixing: The powdered silicon and calcium metals are mixed together in the desired ratio. The mixing process ensures a homogeneous distribution of the metals, which is crucial for obtaining a consistent product.
3. Briquetting: The mixed powder is then compacted into briquettes using a briquetting machine. The briquettes are formed under high pressure, which helps to bind the particles together and increase the density of the material.
4. Sintering: The briquettes are subjected to a high-temperature sintering process. Sintering involves heating the briquettes in a controlled atmosphere furnace. The high temperature causes the particles to bond together, forming a solid mass.
5. Cooling: After sintering, the plates are cooled down gradually to room temperature. This helps to prevent cracking or warping of the plates due to thermal stress.
6. Finishing: The cooled plates are inspected for any defects or irregularities. They may undergo additional processing steps, such as grinding or polishing, to achieve the desired surface finish and dimensions.
7. Quality control: The finished silicon calcium plates are subjected to quality control tests to ensure they meet the required specifications. These tests may include chemical analysis, mechanical strength testing, and visual inspection.
8. Packaging and storage: The plates are then packaged and stored in a suitable environment to protect them from moisture and other contaminants. They are usually stored in a dry and well-ventilated area until they are ready for shipment or further processing.
It is important to note that the specific production process may vary depending on the manufacturer and the intended application of the silicon calcium plates.
