Application For Water-Based Canvas

When applied to canvas, silicon dioxide acts as a protective coating, making the fabric more resistant to water, dirt, and stains. 

It creates a hydrophobic barrier on the surface of the canvas, preventing liquids from penetrating the material.

1. Pour the measured dispersed Silica Powder into the mixing container.
2. Gradually add distilled water to the mixing container while stirring continuously. The water-to-powder ratio should be adjusted 

based on the desired consistency of the dispersion. Aim for a smooth and homogeneous mixture.
3. Continue stirring the mixture until the dispersed silica powder is fully dissolved and evenly dispersed in the water. This process 

may take a few minutes to ensure complete dispersion.
4. Once the dispersed silica powder is fully dissolved, the dispersion is ready for use. You can now add it to your water-based 

printing ink according to the specific ink formulation instructions.
Remember to follow the manufacturer's guidelines for the proper handling and usage of dispersed silica powder. Additionally, it 

is recommended to conduct a small-scale test before applying the dispersion to a larger area to ensure compatibility and desired 

results.
