Feature
Silica dioxide is used for the E-coatings. We are using e-coatings in various industries due to its excellent peformanves.
We often using e-coatings in industrial coatings which can protect the different substrates.Adding silica dioxide into
the e-coatings can improve the paints' stability, transparency and adhesive properties which is suitable for a wide range of
applications, including corrosion protection, optical coatings, and electronic device encapsulation.
Then how this e-coating applies? The e-coating can form a thin layer on the printed circuit boards (PCBs) surface.
Silicon raw materials used in e-coatings are typically in the form of resins or fluids. These materials possess several
properties that make them suitable for electronic applications. Some of these properties include:
1. Thermal stability: Silicon materials can withstand high temperatures without degrading or losing their properties. This
makes them ideal for electronic applications where components generate heat.
2. Electrical insulation: Silicone materials have excellent electrical insulation properties, which help prevent short circuits
and electrical leakage in electronic devices.
3. Chemical resistance: Silicone materials are resistant to various chemicals, including solvents, acids, and bases. This
resistance ensures that the coating remains intact and provides protection against corrosive substances.
4. UV resistance: Silicone materials are also resistant to ultraviolet (UV) radiation, which helps prevent the degradation of
the coating when exposed to sunlight or other sources of UV light.
5. Flexibility: Silicone materials have good flexibility and can withstand mechanical stress, such as bending or stretching,
without cracking or losing their protective properties.
6. Adhesion: Silicone materials have good adhesion to a wide range of substrates, including metals, plastics, and glass.
This ensures that the coating adheres well to the electronic component's surface, providing effective protection.
Overall, silicone raw materials play a crucial role in the formulation of e-coatings, providing the necessary properties to
protect and insulate electronic components.
