Dry, white, free flow powder, silica based Anticorrosive Pigment. It is generally used in metal primers especially in
the coil and can industry.
MS-730 Silica Anticorrosion Pigment can be particularly beneficial in coatings that cure under acidic conditions or
that require acid catalysis to achieve adequate cure (e.g acrylic and alkyd-melamine coatings). Other examples of
successful and ongoing developments include the use of AC-10 silica in radiation-curing (UV/EB) systems for coil
coatings and in powder coating systems for general industrial applications.
There are different types of anti corrosive pigments available, including:
1. Phosphoric acid-based pigments: Phosphoric acid-based pigments, such as zinc phosphate, provide excellent
corrosion protection by forming a protective layer on the surface and inhibiting the corrosion process.
Anti corrosive pigments can be used in various applications, including automotive coatings, marine coatings, industrial
coatings, and protective coatings for metal structures. They help extend the lifespan of the coated surface and reduce
maintenance costs by preventing corrosion.
USING TIPS:
* Recommend dosage is 3%-8%. (Please adjust the dosage according to the actual product.) * As different formulations and conditions, suggest the user to test and make sure the dosage before using.
